Education: High school graduate or GED. Successful completion of EMT-I or EMT-Paramedic course. Experience: 2 years pre-hospital experience preferred. Licensure/Certification: EMT-I certification, EMT-P certification. EMD (Emergency Medical Dispatcher) certification preferred. ACLS, PALS, PHTLS/BTLS certification preferred. Other Minimum Qualifications: Effective interpersonal, communication, and team working skills required. Basic skills in computer/typing, Windows applications, and medical terminology required. Must demonstrate ability to function independently. Must successfully complete orientation and competency validation for this position.
