They undergo thorough clinical rotations, internal training and continuing education. REACH has established several areas of clinical specialty services. In addition to adult medical and trauma patients, our teams are prepared to care for and transport neonatal, pediatric and high-risk obstetric patients.
Requirements:
Clinical Educator Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse or Paramedic in the State of CA (nursing licensure is preferred due to the ability to fly with all crew members).
Minimum of one (1) year formal teaching/training experience within the last three (3) years.
Possesses the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals or groups of employees, managers, health care professionals and the general public.
One (1) year of program or project management experience preferred.
Meets the qualifications, training and certification requirements established for REACH clinical flight crew.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills (spreadsheets, word processing, database).
Ability to empower, organize and motivate a team.
Excellent public relations, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Possesses the ability to write articles for publication.
Maintains membership in a professional Air Medical Transport organization.
Possesses a valid drivers license (in good standing) in the State of California.
